Complaints and Appeals Policy

The Journal of Spektrum Iran (SPIR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial integrity and transparency. Authors are therefore provided with clear procedures for submitting complaints and appeals regarding editorial decisions or the review process.

1. Complaints
Authors who wish to raise a complaint about any aspect of the editorial process (e.g., delays, communication, ethical concerns, or procedural issues) should submit their complaint in writing. All complaints will be treated seriously and handled confidentially. Complaints are initially reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. If required, the complaint may be referred to a member of the Editorial Board or an independent expert.

2. Appeals
Authors who wish to appeal a final editorial decision on their manuscript may submit a written request within 30 days of receiving the decision. The appeal should clearly state the reasons for reconsideration and provide supporting evidence. Appeals are carefully reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and, if necessary, by an Editorial Board member or an independent reviewer. Authors will be notified of the final outcome after thorough evaluation.
